VPS covers production at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, CA.
|
|
|
Corporate events and corporate theater come
together at the vintage Alex Theater. Whether the
production calls for projection from the balcony or
onstage; Complementing the house sound to be
capable of stereo or surround sound; Multi-camera
production truck or airpack on stage; teleprompting
and graphics support...VPS has happily worked along
side the staff of the Alex Theatre for many years.
We look forward to our next event there in August.

Moving LED Walls in SF, Boston & NYC Traffic
|
|
|
VPS and Volcom Studios team up for
what may be the 'first' mobile LED Wall Parade Float
for the national coverage of the new "Q" Television
Network at the Gay Pride Parades. The design and
construction phase of the project was less than 4
weeks from inception to delivery.
Each float in each city was comprised of two
opposing 7.5' x 10' LED screens of the new Barco "O-
Lite" Outdoor 10mm product. The signal path
included a wireless audio system, digital video
switcher, DVD playback, monitoring, two
component 'Robotic' 3 CCD cameras and BetaSP
production records for broadcast.

VPS Supports Events at the Kodak Theater
|
|
|
VPS supported several events at the Kodak Theater
this past year. There is a special skill set needed to
work with the architectural challenges of the home of
the Academy Awards. Our team has been working in
this venue and the adjacent Hollywood and Highland
complex even before it was open to the public. Rest
assured, VPS has the experience to make any
presentation worthy of an award. The set in the
photo was provided by The Hughes Group.
And
the winner is...
